1. You must name your organization. Once you have created a name, you must search for it in the South Carolina Secretary of State-Division of Business Filings database to ensure that no one else has it.
2. Recruiting incorporators and initial directors are essential in establishing your nonprofit organization. There must be 3 directors and certain requirements.
